To the family & friends of SSGT Billy S. Grisset, it's hard to find the words, but I know he will be missed dearly by many of people, he impact many lives of students at Hemingway High School, and lives of others all around. I know he had a impact on my life and sister life as well, she is making a career in the U.S. Army right now because of him, and Colonel Baxley, our instructors, (JROTC). I would like to thank his family, because he was a great man. It hurts, I miss him, and he always saying, I'm going to catch that big one on the water. (Fishing). But, I understand that God loves you best sir, so take your rest, and I hope to see you again on the other side. Thank you for all your teaching, conversations, and moments of laughter. I salute you sir! My deepest sympathy to the family, my prayers to the family during this time.

Mrs. Grissett and Family, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. Mr. Grissett has been a very inspirational individual who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He was not only my instructor but more of a father figure, a mentor and a friend. Sarge played a part in all of my greatest life events from graduating high school to joining the military to adjusting back to the civilian world after the military life. Our friendship will forever be cherished and he will truly be missed. Rest in Paradise Big Sarge! God bless!
