Derrick Richardson

Derrick Demond Richardson was born August 1, 1974 to the parentage of Charlie Lee Miller and Bessie Mae Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Derrick was reared in the home of the late Paul and the late Bessie Washington.

Derrick was educated in the Horry County School System and worked many years in Brick masonry and Clardy Nursery.  He completed two years in the United States Army.

Derrick leaves many memories to his sons: Darquale (Rihanna) Richardson of Green Acres, NC and Derron Gilchrist of Spartanburg SC; a daughter, Dyreka Richardson preceded him in death; grandchildren Aleila Richardson, Aurbrey Richardson and Kairo Richardson of Green Acres NC; brother Stacey Legare, Jerry (Cathlean) Legare of Loris SC, Terry Blakely of Sumter SC and Charles Green of Shallotte NC; sisters Doris Bessent of Longs SC, Maryann Miller, Faye Maple and Natasha Brown, all of Conway SC; a devoted and special friend Stephanie Floyd of the home; two special friends Irene Davis and Lashonda Hemingway; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
