Jerry Clark

Judge Nun Reeves (Jerry Clark), son of the late OD Reeves and Mamie L. Clark, was born October 11, 1941 and departed this life on Monday, October 9, 2023. “Jerry” who he was fondly called attended Columbus County school system, then he served in the Vietnam War where after he settled in his home in Longs, SC of the Freemont Community.  At an early age, he joined Freemont Missionary Baptist Church.  He worked faithfully and retired from Possum Trot Golf Club.

He was united in matrimony to his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Clark, who preceded him in death.  This union was blessed with six children: Ordell Long (NC), Betty Pearl Clark, Donnie Williams, Blanche Clark and Von Clark, all of the home.  One daughter-in-law Deloris Williams that he leaves his loving memories to. Preceding him in death are one sister, Mamie L. Speech, two brothers O’Neil Clark, Jack Clark and one son, O’Neal Nine Clark; two sisters-in-law Osbie Clark and Bertha Cannon.

“Jerry” leaves to cherish three brothers Bishop Junior Clark, Landis “Lonnie” Clark of Loris, SC, Jimmy (Patricia) Jennings of Leesville SC; one sister Shevon McIntosh of Winston Salem NC; one brother-in-law Cecil of Winston Salem NC; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grands, a host of nieces and nephews; special friends Ida Conner, Harold Williams, Roger Gore, and Sammy (Tereasa) Vereen; and many other sorrowing relatives and friends
