“Hush, Hush, somebody is calling my name, ---” At the sound of his named being called by the Lord Almighty, Mr. Rudolph Ellis Gore removed his robe of mortality and donned into a new robe of eternal life with our lord and savior at Mcleod Seacoast Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Mr. Rudolph Ellis Gore was born on June 23,1950, to the late Master John Edward Gore and Mother Annie Eliza Parker-Gore, hewas proceeded in death by his wife Ella Franis Graham, first wife Shelby Jean Bellamy Gore, son James Marshall Hemmingway Jr, grandson David Kadeem Hemingway, five siblings: Cedric, Fredric, Andrew, LeRhue Gore and, Johnnie Mae Bellamy.
Rudolph was educated through the Daisy and Horry County school system. At an early age he dedicated his life to Christ.
Rudolph was better known to many as “Uncle Rudie,” to know him was to love him he was a man of few words but stood on what he believed in. Rudie taught and instilled life values into every- one he came across. Before his health began to fail him, you would often find him in his yard or garden. Rudie enjoyed putting his puz- zles together and watching westerns.
Our father leaves to cherish his fond memories: four daugh- ters Lynteas {Jamie} Wallace of the home, Tonia Hemingway, Vanessa {Gilbert} McMillon both of Tabor City NC and, Ruby {Marvin} Brown of Loris SC three sons; Chris {Melissa} Heming- way of Popular SC, James Bellamy of Tabor City NC and, Robert {Larissa} Brown of Fair Bluff NC; five sisters: Hilda {Troy} Giles, Pastor Diane {Apostle Melvin} Mack, Evangelist Eva Livingston, Susan Gore all of Tabor City NC and, Priscilla McCray of Whiteville NC; five brothers: Issac {Rose} Gore of loris SC, Eddie Gore of Columbia SC, John Gore, Lynwood {Elovely} Gore both Tabor City NC and, Elijah {Nancy} Gore of Hopewell VA; two generations of grandchildren, a grandchild Lee Rashawn Hemingway whom he reared, special nephew Toshay Hemingway, his pet chihuahua {Peanut} and a host of other special children, relatives, and friends.
