Mathew 7:1 “Judge not, that ye be not judged”
Victory Jay DeWitt (VJ) was born on August 13, 1945 in Horry County to the late Roman and Della DeWitt. On October 16, 2023, God grabbed Victory hand and told him to walk with me.
Victory attended Horry County Schools and graduated from Chestnut Consolidated High School and joined the United State Marine Corp, where he served in the Vietnam War. After serving the military he became an amazing electrician and carpenter. Victory accepted Christ at an early age and joined the McNeil Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Whereas, he served on the Trustee board, Senior and Male choir.
Victory was united in matrimony to his loving wife Mrs. Juanita W DeWitt.
Victory was preceded in death in addition to his parents: 7 brothers: Rollen, Shelly, Isaac, Cleavers, Phillip, Walter and Steven DeWitt.4 sisters: Bernice Parker, Elease Williams, Gracie Hagin and Rachel Jefferson
Victory leaves to cherish his devoted and dedicated wife Juanita, 5 children: Meleasia DeWitt, Terreasia (Shawn) Bromell, Gracynthia (Francisco) Lima of Brooksville, SC, Tiffany Wilson of Conway, SC and Derel Wilson of Greensville, SC.9 grandchildren: Teaira DeWitt, Christoper DeWitt, Jason Alcala, Joshua Alcala, Victory Alcala, Mercedes Lima-DeWitt, Osiris Wallingford, Francisco Lima-DeWitt and Diana Rodriguez-DeWitt. 4 God children: Nyasia Vereen, Zamarion DeWitt, Shawn Brown and Tyquasia Gause. 1 Sister: Gladys Baldwin, 3 brother in laws: Tommy Wilson, Randolph (Mary) Wilson and Craig Wilson. 7 Sister in laws.Juliar Jefferson, Maryann Wilson, Irene Jefferson, Brender Wilson, Wonder Wilson, Marie DeWitt and Cathy DeWitt. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
